Veronica & Ian have owned and run The Strathdon for fourteen years, since moving to Blackpool from Staffordshire. Ian used to work in engineering and Veronica is a chef. We like to offer our guests a home from home experience, in comfortable surroundings. Our guest house is situated a stones throw from the beach and with easy access to all of Blackpool’s main attractions.

Veronica & Ian would like to welcome you to The Strathdon. The Strathdon is the only officially accredited 4* guest house on St Chads Road. The Guest House offers 10 en-suite bedrooms. All bedrooms are decorated and furnished with a modern theme but still retaining the Victorian charm. We are proud to have been awarded a Breakfast Award by Visit England and a 5* Food Hygiene Rating by Blackpool Environmental Health. At The Strathdon we operate a strict family and couples only policy. Sorry no Stag/Hen Parties and Young Farmers allowed.

The Strathdon is situated in St Chads Road on Blackpool's South Shore, ideally situated for Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle Water Park, Crazy Golf, Madame Tussauds, Sea Life Centre and Blackpool Tower. Blackpool Promenade and the beach is only 2 minutes walk from the guest house and there is a tram stop at the end of St Chads Road. St Chads Road was awarded Blackpool's Street of the Year in 2015 and has won numerous awards in Blackpool in Bloom over the past 6 years.
