The bed was comfortable and we had everything that we needed. The location was good as we did a fair amount of traveling while we were there.

We loved our short break in The Studio! Clear instructions from Faith on how to find it & places to park etc. The Studio itself was perfect - super clean, well laid out and equipped with everything you could possibly need. A very short walk...

(The drive at back of property is reserved for the main house) Criccieth beaches (2 mins walk) and all of its high street amenities (5 mins walk) is a fantastic place to stay. Wonderful places to visit including Llyn Peninsula and Snowdonia. The self contained studio has wifi and central heating. The living/sleeping area and kitchen are all in one open plan space with a double bed. Small dining table and 2 chairs, kitchen area with oven, hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Sky tv, washer/drier, iron and bathroom with shower. Wardrobe Look up Porthyraur on you tube for videos The studio can be hired with the main cottage which also sleeps 8 so 10 in total.

Criccieth is one of the quaintest coastal towns you will find in north Wales. Nestled amidst a stunning vista of mountains and seascape, like the Llyn Peninsular above it, it boasts wall to wall beauty all around. It is situated on the coast of Snowdonia National Park in North West Wales. It is a prime location for outdoor lovers, whether you are a land lover or more of a water baby. You can explore the beaches, striking mountains, indulge in water sports and explore the mighty castles in addition to other attractions on your stay. in castle street there is the outstanding castle street fish and chips shop (seasonal and be prepared to queue but very worth it!) and the famous cadwalders ice cream cafe. In the high street (5 min walk) there is an Indian restaurant/ takeaway, a Chinese takeaway, a year round fish and chips shop (paddy’s plaice) a kebab/ pizza/burger takeaway shop and 2 pubs The Prince of Wales and the Bryn Hir Arms . There are also several local cafes and shops. Restaurants includes the famous Dylan’s and a favourite of ours the Tonnau (based at the Caerwylan hotel)
