Exposed timbers and country touches give the space real warmth, with a nod to the area's horse-racing heritage throughout. The location is ideal for exploring this beautiful part of England. Medieval Shrewsbury, with its cobbled streets, castle, riverside walks, independent shops and restaurants, is around 15 minutes away. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge, birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and home to ten museums, is a short drive. Families will love the National Trust deer park, mansion and gardens at nearby Attingham Park, while walkers and cyclists are spoilt for choice with the Wrekin, Haughmond Hill and National Cycle Route 81 close by. Telford, with its shopping and attractions, is around 10 minutes away. Downstairs, the village pub offers two log burners, a warm local welcome and dog-friendly areas. The pub hosts food nights and events through the year; just ask and we will let you know what is on during your stay. For a special touch, two locally sourced extras can be pre-ordered before arrival: a chilled bottle of champagne from Tanners, the long-established Shrewsbury wine merchant, ready and waiting on arrival; and a Shropshire breakfast pack from Morgan's of Waters Upton, award-winning master butchers and home of a national champion sausage. Withington is a lovely, quiet village, tucked away in the countryside just 15 minutes from Shrewsbury and Telford. The pub below the apartment is one of the friendliest and best pubs around! The apartment is well sound proofed so you can't hear it too!
