Located in a small, picturesque Scottish village with a historic rail station "Tinto View Apartment" is beautiful and bright 2-bedroom apartment with double beds and additional sofa bed in the living room. Spectacular views of Tito Hill from the living room, especially beautiful on sunny days. Other side of the property - view towards the historic Carstairs Junction Rail Station. The property does have own fully-equipped kitchen with appliances, bathroom with shower and own toilet. Public EV Charging station 3 minutes walk from the property, Public playground 2 min walk from the property. Local Londis shop at walking distance. Bus and rail at your door step with morning trains to Glasgow, Edinburgh and other local towns. Guests can make use of various appliances providing comfort and giving you the feeling of a "Home away from home" Ideal for tourism, hiking, sightseeing, business trips or family getaways. The small picturesque village of Carstairs Junction has the convenience of a train station with trains to both Glasgow and Edinburgh, local Londis shop 5 min walk away, playground area 2 min walk away and huge green areas for long walks. River Clyde is a short 10 min walk from the property - perfect for fishing, walking or enjoying a quiet picnic in the countryside. Short 10 minutes drive by car from Carstairs Junction is the town of Lanark, providing access to a broad range of local shops, supermarkets, pubs & cafès and restaurants, a leisure centre and a great selection of sports and recreational facilities including the Lanark Golf Club as well as many famous Clyde Valley garden centres, offering a huge range of shopping and physical activities. Our apartment are also at a convenient location to explore NEW Lanark and the beautiful Falls of Clyde, attracting visitors from the local area and beyond as it is internationally recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. What’s more, in the area are also the beautiful Castlebank Park, Lanark Loch and the area famous Tinto Hill, offering excellent walks, incredible nature sights and hiking opportunities for the outdoor enthusiasts!
