We are both keen motorbike enthusiasts and regularly get on our bikes and head out onto the most beautiful roads in the UK and probably the world...We also have a beautiful Chocolate brown labrador called "Maya" she keeps us busy most days.

What makes our property unique is the fact that we live on site, which is a big bonus, if you need anything you can just ask us and we will of course try to make it happen.

Neighborhood info

Drumnadrochit where the river Enrick flows out of Glen Urquhart into Loch Ness and washes round Castle Urquhart on its way to Fort Augustus at its southernmost end.Drumnadrochit has won awards for its stunning floral displays, including the famous miniature floral castle on the village green. The village has a range of shops and quality restaurants, some of which offer a free taxi service to and from their establishments. As well as a small food market, craft shops, small farm shop, pharmacy and modern medical centre there is a post office, a bank with ATM and various Loch Ness exhibitions. Urquhart Castle, perched on the banks of Loch Ness, is nearby and features a new and popular visitor centre. There is pony-trekking, fishing and interesting local walks on your doorstep - walks range from leisurely strolls to over 30 Munros. From Drumnadrochit you may enjoy boat trips on Loch Ness or hire a mountain bike and explore the stunning Highland landscape on two wheels. Achmony is the perfect base for touring
