This newly renovated three bedroomed house offers a beautifully designed and calming Scandi-style home in central Hexham within a short stroll to fantastic restaurants, cafes and independent shops with the advantage of dedicated parking. Set over three floors the fully equipped kitchen, gorgeous dining and living space offer everything needed for short and longer breaks. The three charming bedrooms can be configured as king or twin rooms making it an ideal space for families or mixed groups. Farriers Cottage is accessed via the front door and a few steps down from the parking area. Once inside the bright hallway you will find a large utility/boot room with washer/dryer, under counter freezer and butlers sink. Leading off here is a WC with wash basin, perfect for guests using the ground floor bedroom and being on one level, could be suitable for those with limited mobility. The entrance hallway also leads to the first floor staircase and to the comfortable ground floor king or twin bedroom with chest of drawers and reading lighting. The middle floor is divided by the central staircase and offers a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to host six guests, including an electric fan oven/grill and gas hob, under-counter fridge and dishwasher. The dining area has seating for all guests and leads to the relaxing living space with wood burning stove, plenty of comfortable seating, ambient lighting and Smart TV with on demand viewing. A further staircase leads to the third floor with the master bedroom offering a super king or twin set up, en-suite WC & wash basin, dressing table, wardrobe and shelf space. Reading lighting and a wall mounted Smart TV with on demand viewing creates a lovely additional space to relax. The third bedroom can be configured as a twin or king room and again has a wall mounted Smart TV. The family bathroom offers shower over bath, WC and wash basin. Parking There is a dedicated parking space at front of the cottage, suitable for large four by fours. Location Farriers Cottage is ideally located in the heart of "Happy Hexham" and a short stroll from numerous independent shops, well renowned restaurants and cafes. Hadrian's Wall can be accessed easily and within a 10 minute drive. Local wedding venues such as Hexham House, Hexham Abbey, Hexham Winter Gardens & The Beaumont are within walking distance and Healey Barns, Horton Grange, Slaley Hall and Shortflat Tower are a 10 to 15 minute drive away. A note if travelling with small children: Farriers Cottage is a three story house so the amount of stairs of could pose a risk for young children. Please also be aware that the window sills in the living and kitchen area are low and cables/sockets could be easily accessible.
