Award winning Woodclose Park is well laid out in an area of outstanding natural beauty just 10 minutes from the historic market town of Kirkby Lonsdale in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Set within 9 acres, the outlying fields provide habitats for a rich variety of animals, birds, flora and fauna. A very special location for holidays with a number of serviced hard-standing touring pitches, onsite Self Catering Glamping Pods and a Self Catering Flat (sleeps up to 4). As well as an exclusive Holiday Home and Lodge development if you wish to stay a little longer.

Neighborhood info

Location is one of the many strengths of Woodclose Park and you will find plenty to see and do all within easy travelling distance of the Park such as Ingleton Falls, Wensleydale Cheese Factory, White Scar Caves, the village of Hawes are just some of the many places to visit. Closer to home, enjoy many cycling and walking routes, horse riding, fishing and golf. Kirkby Lonsdale Town is no more than 15 minutes’ walk from the Park entrance, the historic town of Kirkby Lonsdale with its award winning selection of specialist shops, tearooms, restaurants and inns. The River Lune & Devil’s Bridge - A short stroll from the Park you will find yourself beside the beautiful River Lune and the three ribbed medieval arches of Devil’s Bridge. The origin of the Bridge is obscure, but it has given rise to a legend that it was built by the devil in a pact with an elderly lady. Alternatively, if you would like to fish, visitor’s permits and licences are available locally or online.
