Quirky, charming, small log cabin on owner's property. Very compact with all essentials. Lovely raised outdoor seating area & double swing to while away the mornings with a cup of tea and evenings with a glass of wine observing the wonderful view....

Awesome location, in the middle of wonderful landscape, with country walks just next to it, easy access to the village with pubs, couldn't ask for more. The cabin is tastefully furnished and provides all the amenities needed for a self catering...

The cabin is set in private grounds that guests are free to wander and enjoy, there is a sea glimpse from the cabin on a clear day. Plenty of wood around in the old quarry that can be used to enjoy the firepit and chiminera outside the cabin, the garden is very peaceful and at night while sitting outside with a fire you can enjoy the night sky with no light inteference, perfect for spotting the white barn owl, rabbits and wildlife that inhabits the garden. There are 3 ponds at the end of the property which support a number of wildlife that come to drink, we have built a bridge for animals to drink safely without falling in. The water is extremely deep and guests are advised that they visit the ponds at their own risk.
I love meeting new people while hosting, but leave you to enjoy your holiday in peace,so try not to disturb you unless there is essential maintenance required in the garden such as lawn mowing etc. which you will be advised of.
There is a pub in the village serving good food, Eden Project and Heligan Gardens are a short drive away, as is the city of Truro and supermarkets are also only 10 minutes away by car. There is also a regular bus route at the bottom of the road for those wishing to use public transport. There is a local shop that is well stocked in the village, along with a hairdressers if required. The beaches are also only a short drive away, the nearest are Porthpean and Pentewan, approx 10-15 minute drive. There are also lots of walks and bike trails for guests to enjoy a short drive away.
