Old Post Office
The Old Post Office is one of the oldest buildings in Kinlochleven. It dates back to 1880 and originally served as a Post Office. Building is visible from afar, mainly thanks to the red mailbox standing just outside the cottage. Our short term license number is HI-40092-F.
Kinlochleven is a gateway to Glencoe area, Mamores and West Highland Way. There is so much to do all year round in our area - for example: The famous West Highland Way trail passes through Kinlochleven Ice Factor National Climbing Centre in Kinlochleven The Jacobite steam train (the Harry Potter train!) Kayaking / canoeing Walking / climbing Running Fishing Mountain biking Road biking Skiing at the Nevis Range or the Glencoe Ski Resort Bird watching Photography E-bikes can be hired from the Kinlochleven Community Trust The Scottish 6 Day motor bike trials take place each May The Leven Valley 2 Day motor bike trial takes place each September Salomon Skyline Scotland mountain running event takes place each September
