Walker Ground Manor is truly somewhere special, here we aim to provide all the ingredients for a great stay in a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. Offering high standards of accommodation, a beautiful garden, an award winning breakfast and the level of attention to detail that can only be achieved by a small owner run B&B. This lovely traditional English Lake District country house, dates from the early 17th century. Full of charm and character, the house retains many original features; fine oak floors and panelling, with a rare barley twist oak staircase. The large en suite bedrooms each have their own individual character and are furnished and decorated with style.

Sue & Richard owners of Walker Ground Manor, offer a high standards of accommodation, a beautiful lakeland garden complete with waterfall, an award winning breakfast with eggs provided by their our own hens and the level of attention to detail and service that can only be achieved by a small owner run B&B.

Just 6 mins walk from the centre of the village. This Hawkshead B&B is in a great location for walking and mountain biking as there are many walks & trails straight from the door, including access to Grizedale Forest, Coniston, Ambleside, The Langdales, Grasmere and Lake Windermere are all within easy reach by road. Also a short ferry ride across the Lake is a pleasurable alternative route to Bowness. For accommodation in the South Lakes Area Walker Ground Manor Bed & Breakfast is a great place to stay.
