This delightful, easy access ground floor, two bed sea front apartment has lovely views over Sandsend Bay. In the summer take in these views of the sea and beach which are literally on your doorstep, whilst in the cooler months snuggle up and take advantage of the cosy surroundings with full central heating and listen to the waves on the shore. The open plan, well equipped kitchen, lounge, diner have some traditional features with beamed ceiling. The property has a small shared patio with outside seating. This property has been recently refurbished with many new features making this a very attractive holiday let in one of the country's most unique picturesque and popular seaside villages. It is ideal for walkers with many national park routes close by. Tea shop is two minute walk away. Pub 3 mins walk. PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT PROVIDE BATH TOWELS
I have been staying in Sandsend since I was a young lad. I always said that one day I would have my own little place there so my children could experience the fun I had year after year.
Sandsend, one of North Yorkshire's prettiest coastal villages, is set at the foot of Lythe Bank and only a two mile beach walk away from Whitby. Pretty holiday cottages and houses are set in the stunning cliff backdrop. Beneath them is the award-winning beach, with streams leading to the sea, perfect for children to have a splash in or feed the ducks. Alternatively a walk in the neighbouring woodlands or along the cliffs is equally as charming. Originally Sandsend was two separate villages, each formed along its own beck, it now stands as one united village. There are interesting shops, an award-winning restaurant, cafes, pubs and an art gallery. With beautiful views of the coastline and its famous historic neighbour, Whitby, it is a truly magical place.
