The property has one king-size double bedroom with a TV, a shower room and an open-plan living/kitchen/dining room with a woodburning stove. Outside, there is roadside parking and an enclosed patio garden with furniture and an outbuilding with secure storage and dog bowls and towels, should you wish to bring your dog. Wattle Cottage is a lovely couple's retreat to the beautiful Cheshire countryside. Minimum of x3 nights for short breaksOne well-behaved dog welcome. 2 dogs on request.

The lovely village of Malpas is located in the south Cheshire countryside. Home to a Norman Motte and Bailey castle, as well as a medieval street pattern, you will find ample shops, hotel and guest house accommodation, and scattered holiday cottages can be found tucked away in quiet parts of the town. The jewel in the crown of Malpas is its stunning Medieval church, built from rich red sandstone. Malpas lies within easy reach of the Peckforton Hills,Tarplorley and Delamere Forest, while Chester and Bangor on Dee, with their race courses, golf courses and fishing facilities are also accessible. Enjoy cycling through the countryside and boating on the nearby Shropshire Grand Union Canal, while Cholmondeley Castle and Garden, one of the region's top attractions, is a must-see.
