Weston Lawn is our family Georgian house, with our Self Catering Cottage, is located on the west side of Victoria Park in Weston village near the RUH, within walking distance of the centre of Bath . You may park your car off the road beside our house and leave it there when you go into Bath. The Old Crown pub, within a one minute walk serves evening meals. The taxi services are efficient and inexpensive and the bus service is frequent. We do request that guests respect our check in time of 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm although we can be flexible if this is discussed and agreed in advance. We offer Double, Single and Triple accommodation in The Cottage, This is in our garden separate from the main house just 30 feet away and private. It has a living room, double bedroom and Shower room. The Cottage has WiFi. is well heated with wall mounted electric radiators and has independent access.
Fiona and William Close manage our Self Catering Cottage at Weston Lawn and we will welcome you on arrival and show you to the cottage. We have lived at Weston Lawn for over 30 years and believe that Weston village is a very special place. Our children have long since flown the nest. But our Cocker Spaniel and pussy cat are very much at home.
The Self Catering Cottage at Weston Lawn is situated in a quiet part of Weston village, near the Church and Pub. The village has a full range of shops including Post Office, Newsagent, Chemist and Supermarket. Just up our road are fields and the open countryside with pubilc footpaths. Yet the centre of Bath is only just over 1 mile away. The slightly downhill walk into the city centre takes about 25 minutes, past the Botanical Gardens and through Victoria Park. Many guests walk in, enjoy the day exploring Bath and get the taxi back in the evening. Being just to the north west of Bath centre, motorway access is quick and it is easy to get to the many sites and places near Bath. Castle Combe, Laycock, Stonehenge, Wales, Westonbirt Arboretum are all easily accessible.
