Our beautiful family-run Georgian Guest house is full of character and is located right next to the beautiful beach at Weymouth. It is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful county of Dorset including the famous Jurassic Coastline as well as enjoying the wonderful town of Weymouth with its wonderful array of award winning restaurants, clean beach and busy harbor. Located at the very edge of Weymouth’s sandy seafront, Whitecliff Guest House offers rooms overlooking the sea and full English breakfasts, just 5 minutes’ walk from Weymouth Rail Station. All rooms feature private bathrooms, TVs, and tea/coffee facilities apart from the Single Sea View Room which has exclusive use of a separate bathroom. Some rooms also provide excellent views of the sea and Weymouth Bay. Guests can enjoy a choice of Full English Breakfast or smaller options, including Vegetarian options in the Breakfast Room overlooking the sea. Weymouth town center is just 15 minutes’ walk away along the promenade, and The Sealife Center is approximately a 10-minute walk away. All guest rooms are only accessible by stairs. Small well behaved dogs are welcome only upon request, at an extra cost. Breakfast is included - there is no additional cost. The South West Coast Path passes right by our door and leads towards Durdle Door, Lulworth Coast and Swanage along the famous Jurassic Coast. We, Ian and Julia, have always loved the sea and Weymouth in particular has always been a special place for us. In 2017 we decided that instead of talking about how lovely it would be to run a guesthouse on the coast we'd actually do it. We spend our spare time exploring the coastline and beyond - Dorset is an incredible county and offers breathtaking views and scenery which ever part you choose to explore. We're passionate about where we live and we love sharing our knowledge of what Weymouth and Dorset has to offer with our guests. It matters to us that our guests enjoy their time here at Whitecliff and we work hard to ensure they are comfortable and well fed in the morning before setting off for the day. We're always happy when we receive positive feedback and many guests choose to return to us time and again. Please note that pets live on the property.

We would love to welcome you to our family-run Georgian guesthouse, perfectly situated by the beach in Weymouth. Our home serves as an ideal base for exploring Dorset, the Jurassic Coast, and our town’s vibrant harbour and award-winning restaurants. Our cozy, individually decorated guest rooms feature en suite shower rooms, tea and coffee facilities, TVs, and free Wi-Fi. We welcome well behaved small/medium sized dogs on request, for an extra charge. Your stay includes a freshly cooked breakfast in our sea-view dining room, featuring locally sourced ingredients like farm-fresh eggs and produce from our local butcher. Please let us know in advance if you have any specific dietary requirements. When booking, please keep the following in mind: Room Types: We offer both Sea View Rooms, which provide uninterrupted views of Weymouth Bay and the Purbeck Hills, and Non-Sea View Rooms. Please note that the Single Sea View room has an external bathroom a few steps down the hallway. Accessibility: As our B&B is a Georgian Listed House, please note that all rooms are accessible by stairs only. Location: We are a level walk to the harbour and main town and the beach is literally just outside our front door. Parking - there is overnight parking along both sides of our road all year round and day time parking (subject to seasonal restrictions) on our road or nearby. For your convenience, we offer flexible check-in via key safe boxes with prior notice. We are also centrally located just a 10-minute walk from the town centre, train station, and bus stops.

Neighborhood info

Weymouth is a town with a lot of history, from medieval times to more recently when it was one of the host towns for the 2012 Olympics. The beach is one of the safest and cleanest in England and offers families and travellers of all ages something to enjoy - from just relaxing on the beach, sampling the local ice cream or taking part in the many watersports on offer nearby, or walking along this part of the South West Coast path and exploring the stunning Jurassic Coast. The harbour and town offer an incredible choice of fabulous restaurants, pubs and cafes, many overlooking the sea or harbour area. There's lots to do in the town and it's also a great base from which to explore the world famous Isle of Purbeck and Jurassic Coast. There are plenty of watersports to take part in in Weymouth if you fancy a go, or there are the beautiful quiet nature reserves nearby to explore at Lodmoor and Radipole. Weymouth usually has lots of events on throughout the year and the Pavillion on the harbour has plenty of live shows on offer - the Christmas pantomime is a must see!!!
