Company info

Cooking and history are my passion. Since 2003 I am sharing my passion for the Greek kitchen, and cooking in general, with my guests and cooking workshop participants. (read my blog). In the neighborhood of our apartments (on our farm in Galatas) we grow our own vegetables, and guests can accompany me for a visit to our garden. Vegetarian en veganistic meals do get special attention in my bistro, and cooking lovers can follow one of the workshops I hold regularly. I also like to share the history of "my island Poros", and travel back in time with my guest to classical Greece during one of the historic walks that I organize from time to time.

Property info

A unique place on the island. Many guests feel at home quickly because its authentic and comfortable surroundings. "Sleep on nature" beds (Cocomat!!) and a fantastic kitchen of the licensed bistro, complete the Odyssey experience. At Odyssey it is possible to book al kinds of activities, like for example a day trip with a sea kayak, a cooking workshop or a historical walk over the island. Also theme weeks are organized for sportive people like the "Escape from the castle", a special week for open sea swimmers.

Neighborhood info

Askeli is a part of Poros which is situated about 1,5 km from the port. It has a large beach with many restaurants and bars. There is an excellent bus service to the port; two supermarkets and a bike-scooter rental make the place complete for every holidaymaker. Did I already mentioned the water sports accommodation and the many pools in the neighborhood? In spring and autumn Askeli is a great starting place for sea kayak journeys to the many bays of the island, and for hiking and cycling around the island. The temple of Poseidon, on top of the island, does not only gives the visitor the feeling of having traveled back in time, but also gives a special relaxing atmosphere while letting one enjoy the magnificent views.
