For an enhanced relaxation experience, book our natural wood-fired sauna for a small additional fee and let your worries melt away (same-day reservations are required by 12:00 pm). Enjoy activities in our Palapa, including yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, as well as Salsa and Bachata classes (available at an additional cost). Surrounded by vibrant flora and birdlife, it’s not uncommon to spot hummingbirds in our garden. Our communal outdoor kitchen is the perfect place to cook, connect, and share moments with fellow travelers. At Casa Lobo, we prioritize serenity and tranquility, making it the ideal destination for those seeking a peaceful escape. Parties and loud gatherings are not permitted, ensuring a quiet and respectful atmosphere for all guests. Please note that we are located outside of town, offering a calm environment away from the center. Tuk-tuks pass regularly (approx. 07:00–22:00) and typically cost around Q15 per person, providing easy access to town within minutes. If you need a ride outside these hours, please don’t hesitate to reach out, and we can share contact details of local tuk-tuk drivers. Please be aware that Casa Lobo is a private rental and not a hotel. We do not have a reception desk or 24/7 on-site staff and operate with a full self-check-in system, allowing you to enjoy your stay independently and at your own pace.

Just a 3-minute walk (approx. 100 meters) from the property, you’ll find direct access to Lake Atitlán, including a small beach area where you can relax or enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding volcanoes. For breakfast, we highly recommend La Cocina Bonita, located directly across the street and known for its fresh and delicious options in a cozy atmosphere. In the evening, don’t miss Bistro Isabella (just 150 meters away), a charming Italian restaurant where everything is homemade and prepared with great attention to detail. Casa Lobo offers a wide range of activities, from iconic local experiences such as the Indian Nose sunrise hike, guided volcano treks, coffee plantation tours, and visits to the famous Chichicastenango market, to engaging onsite activities like yoga classes, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, as well as Salsa and Bachata lessons, all available at an additional cost. Please note that while the area is generally peaceful, occasional maintenance or improvement work may take place on our property as part of our ongoing efforts to keep Casa Lobo in excellent condition. Additionally, construction work can sometimes occur in the surrounding area, which is common in Guatemala and beyond our control. As a result, there may be occasional and unforeseen noise disturbances during your stay.
