It had a great view! We enjoyed the location and it was easy to get an uber. We enjoyed the juice restaurant on the lower level. It was easy to enter and the place was cute!

The staff was great! Specially Katherine who helped who went the extra mile helping us with money exchange, ride to the airport and cooked a delicious breakfast! The property is close to the airport so we did have airplane noise.

This is a beautiful and very comfortable hotel. Very big rooms with a separate living room and kitchen. The swimming pool is beautiful and everything looks very clean and new. Personnel are nice. There is a buffet breakfast with plenty of options. This hotel is close to the airport.

La Aurora International is located 4 miles (around 6 kilometres) from Guatemala City and around 15 miles (25 kilometres) from Antigua Guatemala. Taxis are the most convenient way to travel between the airport and the city centres. A ride to Guatemala City will take around 20 minutes, and Antigua Guatemala will be around 50 minutes.

I love Guatemala.
I love Guatemala. Tourists that travel to Guatemala go there because they don’t listen to media. They do their own research and know they’ll be safe as with any country in the world, there are safe areas and areas tourists must avoid. Guatemala is a beautiful destination and it has something for everyone, whether one likes the beach or likes hiking on the mountains. Guatemala is a very diverse country and every tourist will find it enjoyable.
Overall, I love Guatemala for many reasons and one of them is that, its people welcome every foreigner with open arms.

It’s a beautiful pristine room with good quality bedding and a large king size bed however, when the owner gives the Taxi Driver the code to the building in your room and there’s no lock inside the room to keep you safe it’s a security risk. On top of that, he said he would resolve the Wi-Fi that evening and by morning the Wi-Fi network disappeared. I never got resolved.

If you plan ahead, you can take advantage of everything the country has to offer. Since distances can be long, you might want to do Tikal as soon as you come in. Then stay a night in the city and move on to Antigua. From there you can book many activities. Have fun! People are very nice. Only negative from me is that usually things don’t have labeled prices…I don’t appreciate bargain!

Very clean hotel. Super close to the airport. The room was clean, bed and linens exceptional. WiFi worked great. There’s a beautiful terrace for meals or to be in nature. They delivered food to the room or the terrace all day. Free breakfast was great, smaller portions but perfect for me. I highly recommend to stay here when having early flights out of GUA or late flights in.
