The Hideaway is a stand alone structure in the middle of a tropical garden. It is in a quiet area with no road access, hence no sounds from cars and motorcycles. Enjoy the nature and quiet solitude. The property is lakefront, and you will have access to the lakeshore, swim beach, and boat dock. The cabin itself does not have lakeviews.
We enjoy hosting and sharing this beautiful area with guests. We can share helpful information on what to see and do while visiting this area. We enjoy hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, rock climbing, and relaxing in nature.
This area is boat access only. You will arrive and depart by boat, and use boats to explore the villages surrounding Lake Atitlan. There are plentiful hiking trails to explore areas reached by land.
You will find several great restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Some offer delivery service.
A few of the restaurants also have bars, musical entertainment, and themed nights (trivia, open mic, etc).
