🐞 Living in Harmony with Nature Our homestay is located in the middle of organic rice fields, free from chemicals and pesticides. Because of this, nature thrives here, and you may encounter small creatures such as crickets, frogs, geckos, butterflies, or even tokay lizards. We provide mosquito repellent lotion in the room for your comfort. Natural sounds like insects or frogs can be heard, especially at night — for those who are sensitive to noise, we also provide earplugs. We kindly ask guests not to harm any wildlife that may enter the room. Please contact our staff if you need assistance. 🕌 Local Culture & Muslim Community Life Lombok is known as the “Island of a Thousand Mosques,” and the majority of people living around the homestay are Muslim. You may hear the call to prayer (Adhan) from nearby mosques five times a day, including early in the morning around 4:30 AM. This is a natural and important part of the local spiritual life. We hope guests can appreciate this as part of the unique cultural experience during their stay. 👕 Etiquette & Respect When visiting the village or public areas, it is highly appreciated if guests dress modestly (for example, wearing shirts with sleeves and shorts or pants that cover the knees).
