The renewed interest in local history is of particular importance and our proximity to the gateway to the new world, Cobh, heightens our awareness of our heritage.

An Stór is a converted woolstore nestling in the heart of Midleton town. It is just a few steps away from all the central attractions of the Main Street while retaining the quiet atmosphere of a residential area. in 2020 we celebrate 25 years of accommodation in Midleton. The new wing of the building is furnished entirely for double/twin/triple occupancy, while our original stone-faced building provides a range of family rooms which welcome larger groups and families. Our self-catering kitchen provides a casual eating and meeting space on the ground floor, where the large.sitting room has space for friendly gatherings. A generous continental breakfast is provided for all guests in the downstairs dining room. We encourage guests to chat and interact as they share the meal. Free parking is outside the front door.

Midleton is a busy market town, ideally situated as a base for visiting a string of beaches along the coast, a ring of historical towns in the East Cork/West Waterford area and a culinary paradise served by the rich farmland and seas of the area. The Saturday Farmer's Market is a must-see- and -sample for visitors, while the Food Festival in September is also a treat.
