“The location was a short drive or long walk (35 minutes) from Blarney Castle and Blarney Square. The tankless water heater in the shower provided warm water quickly. Our host was attentive and brought an extra blanket when I said I was cold.”

Beechwood Lodge is a modern Bed & Breakfast just a 10-minute stroll from the charming town of Blarney with its lovely array of shops, restaurants and pubs. Our B&B has been furnished to the highest of standards to ensure comfort and relaxation. We are close to many must-see attractions including the historic Blarney Castle, which is a mere five minutes away. Beechwood is the ideal base for exploring Blarney and Cork.
Blarney Castle & Gardens: Blarney Castle is only five minutes from our Bed and Breakfast. The castle’s most famous attraction is the Blarney Stone where you can queue up to kiss the stone at the top of the castle tower. Visitors can explore the castle ruins including its dungeon with vast underground passages and chambers. A stroll through the gardens cannot be missed! Cork City: We are located less than 10km from Cork City, a cosmopolitan and vibrant capital. The historical city is built on the River Lee and its centre is spanned by many bridges. The ideal way to gain an insight into the city’s heritage and culture is to take a guided walking tour. Attractions not to be missed are the Old Midelton Distillery, The Titanic Trail and Cork City Gaol, which is a popular heritage centre. Outdoor Leisure Pursuits: Beechwood Lodge is ideally located for enjoying an abundance of outdoor leisure pursuits including many walking trails, fishing, golfing, horse-riding and water-sport activities.
