We are within walking distance of the local Gourmet Restaurant, the Pink Elephant. There are also a selection of Irish traditional Pubs close by. Harbour view beach is the 1st beach that you meet on the wild Atlantic way (R600). It is a special area of conservation & has a bird sanctuary. There are some scenic woodland walks in the area suited to all types of walkers. The skeleton of the Kilbrittain whale is now on display in Kilbrittain playground, This also has a fairy walk attached to it. Tucked away between the villages of Kilbrittain and Timoleague lies the West Cork Secret, one of Corks leading activity centres. Combining the serenity of the beautifully landscaped gardens with the excitement and adventure of the activity park which offers obstacle courses, Go Karts, Pizza Cafe & much more. Kinsale is just a 15 minute drive from our B&B and offers a wide variety of restaurants to choose from. This is a beautiful town full of history. Clonakilty hosts the model railway village, the Michael Collins Heritage Centre and is close by the Inchadoney beach. Our B&B is the ideal base for touring and enjoying West Cork.
