It is one minute from all of the shops, pubs, restaurants, and everything there is to see and do in Kinsale. It is very tastily decorated to the highest standard and has all modern amenities including a fully fitted kitchen, living/dining room, satellite TV with DVD player and unlimited free wifi. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin and a shower room with toilet. To the rear of the property, there is a small patio with a canopy, table and chairs. Kinsale, known as the gourmet capital of Ireland, is located about 18 kilometers west of Cork city. It is a very vibrant town boasting lots of restaurants and bars and many interesting things to do. It is an ideal base for touring west cork or for sports activities including golf, horse riding, swimming, shark fishing, kayaking etc. Visitors to Kinsale are captivated by its beautiful setting; its long waterfront, yacht-filled harbour, narrow winding streets and brightly painted galleries, shops and houses. The impressive fortifications of Charles Fort and James Fort guard the narrow entrance from the sea – giving clues to its rich history. There are a number of guided walking tours (including an evening Ghost Tour!) available and plenty of information at the Kinsale Tourist Office in the centre of the town.
