We have a victorian cottage at the foot of the beautiful Wicklow Mountains. The cottage is just off the N11 Eastern Corridor with regular (every 30 mins) bus routes to Greystones sea, Bray (largest town in Ireland and the City of Dublin . There is a direct train link to Dublin from Greystones. There are numerous Par 5 Golf resorts within minutes of the cottage including Druids Glen, Powerscourt (two 18 hole), Bray Golf Course and many more. Walking and cycling along the Wicklow Way is also on your doorstep. Cycle path to Greystones and beyond. Gas Station 100m away with two cosy taverns within walking distance. We are local to Glendalough , lock Dan and Lough Tai which are superb for walking . We have secure bicycle area with security camera (not that you would need it) and seating area for BBQ should you wish to dine alfresco.
Lived in Wicklow for 22 years. Keen Golfer , Hiker , Fisher . Family man with three sons.
There are two cosy Gastro pubs within minutes walk where live music is regularly on the menu. Kilpedder is an attractive small village full of character yet easily acceptable to all amenities including Public swimming pools and Irish Sea swimming, Horse riding , Lawn tennis clubs which are very attractive. Greystones beach /Bray town (the largest town in ireland) / the city of Dublin are available by public transport where the regular (every 30 mins ) stops at Kilpedder cottage . A short drive to Britas Bay beach is truly attractive and recommended .
