Welcome to Lakeview cottage, a charming three -bedroom bungalow just a five minute drive from the beautiful village of Waterville & close to Lough Currane . The cottage is comfortable ,detached property set in a private garden with ample parking ,making it a lovely base for families and couples looking to explore the stunning Ring of Kerry. The cottage has two bedrooms with double beds & a third bedroom with a single bed. For families travelling with youger children ,we also provide a Childrens bed & travel cot .A highchair is available on request. The bathroom has both a bath and a separate shower, while the cosy sitting room has a smart TV with free-to -air local channels,comfortable setting & a traditional stove ,making it a lovely place to relax after a day exploring . Free Wi-Fi ,bed linen & towels are provided for all guests. Things to enjoy in and around Waterville. Waterville is a wonderful base for exploring the surrounding area . The village has a beautiful sandy beach ,children's playground,ice-cream shop,cafés,pubs,shops,restaurants,all within easy reach. Nearby Derrynane Beach offers Kayaking,canoeing,diving & other activties ,as well as a lovely fairy trail that younger children will enjoy. You can also visit Derrynane house,the ancestral home of Daniel O'Connell,and enjoy the gardens and coffee shop. For Famlies ,Garraí Glas Heritage Pet Farm is approximately a 10-15 minute drive from Lakeview Cottage & is a lovely place for children to meet and pet the animals . Kells Bay Gardens is also well worth a visit .Enjoy a relaxing walk through the beautiful gardens,take a break at the café & ,for those looking for a little adventure ,try the rope bridge /walk. For Food & entertainment ,Waterville has a great selection of places to eat and enjoy a drink ,including The Lobster Bar ,Dooleys etc Skelligs Chocolate factory.
