Recently renovated Old Railway Waiting Room. Quirky little cottage with 1 bedroom - double bed, 1 bathroom, washing machine & dryer & large kitchen / living area. Private entrance & parking. Located in Killeagh village walking distance to shops, bars & Glenbower woods. The cottage is situated on the new Youghal - Midleton Greenway. Located within 10km of Youghal Golf Club & 5km to Castlemartyr Golf Club. Also located in East Cork is the beautiful Ballycotton Cliff Walk, Ballymaloe Cookery School & Restaurant, Youghal & Garryvoe beaches.
Your host is Eimear. I have lived in Railway Cottage myself for 4 years after I renovated & restored the building and have loved living here. I have recently moved & decided it would be lovely for others to share & spend time in my cosy little cottage for their short vacation stays! Please let me know if you have any questions at all. I look forward to hosting & hope that you enjoy the lovely serine space in Killeagh.
Close to The Old Thatch restaurant - Killeagh Village is just at your fingertips. 7km from Youghal where you have the boardwalk, beaches & many restaurants / bars. 10km from Midleton with lots of restaurants, the Jameson Distillary experience & train station. 10km from Ballycotton, a lovely fishing town with gorgeous cliff walks, cafes, restaurants.
