This is an animal friendly house, all animals are rescue . These include my beautiful Izzy the dog. My cats George, devina , boy, and Georgina.I also have many beautiful hens and ducks, you may sit and have a coffee and watch them being busy. You would have to be an animal lover to enjoy my old world traditional cottage from times gone by. It is a very relaxed environment, ideal if you want to escape the world, and visit one of West Corks oldest town. We are in the middle of this little town, with its many historic churches and building. We have an open air farmers market every Saturday morning, where you can relax under the belfry of Saint Peters church. Bandon is the gateway to West Cork, with all that it has to offer. We are fifteen minutes to the beach, 30 minutes to the Airport,and Cork city . The beautiful costal towns of kinsale and Clonakilty are just 20 minutes drive. We are ideally situated if visiting West Cork for a wedding, as only 20 minutes from Dunmore House Hotel and Fernhill House Hotel. A free taxi to the venue is provided if you stay with us. You will start your day with a warm hearty Irish breakfast, before you explore beautiful West Cork
I am an outgoing, friendly, laid back person, I am a huge animal lover and my home has many friendly rescued animals. I enjoy travelling, meeting new people and learning a little bit of their culture. India is my favourite County, I love all the different cultures and how they live in harmony together. I totally enjoy hosting guests and always make sure that their stay, be it short or long is a memorable one. I am humbled when guests return to my home, to visit Izzy my beautiful dog and I. A beautiful small West Cork town steeped in tradition, surrounded by rich farm lands and rolling hills. There are also many little shops, cafes, bars for you to visit in Bandon. .The town is set on the banks of the beautiful winding river Bandon as it makes it way to the beautiful award winning town of kinsale. We are 20 minutes drive to Clonakilty and the Michael Collins Centre. 20 minutes to the City of Cork. 40 minutes from Blarney Castle. 40 minutes to Cobh. 40 minutes to Fota wildlife park.
