Need a break from the pressure of life? I write to you from the dining room table, on my left is a view of Dugort Beach, in front of me the sea stretches away to Belmullet. Today the sun is shining, but even on stormy wet days the sea is beautiful and reminds me to slow down and enjoy life. Come and try it!
I am a writer, and this is a wonderful place to get in touch with your creativity! Over the last couple of years I have renovated the house and am now renting it on this site to raise money to convert a separate utility room into a studio.
It is wonderful to be a five minute walk from the beach. In summer time the hotel on the other side of the beach is open, handy for a meal or drinks. There are plenty of lovely walks on Achill island if you like to try new places.
