Sióg Cottage is situated in a very central location, just 13 kilometres from Galway City and just 4.5 kilometres from Oughterard Village, ideal for touring and exploring surrounding beautiful Connemara and our neighbouring counties, Galway , Clare and Mayo. There are beaches and bays to swim, Islands to visit, mountains to climb, and hikes to trek, the list is endless. Galway city is a town full of culture and custom, where you can indulge yourself in the craft of local Theatres and sing along in the music filled pubs.

Sióg is located on the N59 road from Galway city to Clifden. This makes Sióg the ideal location for touring Galway, Connemara, Joyce Country and surrounding counties. This area also has the benefit of bus services to the City and Clifden town and nearby Oughterard daily. This is a beautiful quiet neighbourhood.
