Less than 1km to Oughterard's bustling town offering several pubs, restaurants and shopping, fishing on Lough Corrib, Oughterard golf club, Aughanure castle, Brigit's garden, the Quiet Man Bridge, Glengowla mines, Kylemore Abbe, horse riding facilities and more. Public transport to both Galway city and Clifden stops right outside our gate. We make a great and handy base for couples, families or solo adventurers interested in exploring the beautiful surrounding areas of Connemara and Galway city

Driving distance to The Quiet Man Cottage, Connemara National Park (Diamond Hill), Kylemore Abbey and other attractions in Connemara. Galway city is less than 30 minutes driving distance offering lively nightlife, shopping, tourist attractions, cinemas, museums and festivals all year round. Less than 1km to town of Oughterard.
