This property is located on the edge of picturesque Ballycotton. We do not recommend that you walk these roads. Driving is a safer option. There are also many options for pre-booked taxi services if you would like to head into town for dinner or a drink and prefer not to drive (contact details available on site).
We are situated on the edge of beautiful Ballycotton, a small seaside fishing village in East Cork, with bars, restaurants, and renowned cliff walk, there is a pitch and putt course overlooking Ballycotton bay, and the iconic Mary Stanford Lifeboat. There is seasonal fishing and boat trips to the famous black Lighthouse. Lots of local amenities nearby, such as Ballymaloe House Hotel, Ballymaloe Cookery School and amazing gardens , Garryvoe Hotel, Castlemartyr Resort Hotel and Golf Links. The historical town of Youghal 30 minutes drive. The busy town of Midleton, that's famous for its Jameson whiskey Distillery tour. Fota Island Wildlife Park is a great day out ,situated on a 100 acres of parkland, Cobh, Cork city, and Kinsale all are within easy reach for pleasant day trips.
