Hi, My name is Farida and this is my home which I have converted to a Home Stay. I love to travel and meet people from different parts of the world so this is another way for me to meet people and share our stories. I am also very passionate about my place of birth, Shillong and would like to help people learn and see all the beauties it has to offer. I always try to help my guests with their itineraries and connect them to the best driver and local guides for a memorable experience. Apart from sightseeing, you can also learn from me about our culture, food and our art n crafts. I stay at the property and am usually there in case you need any help.

Property info

Nestled in the hills, surrounded by luscious green pine trees, lies our beautifully furnished, comfortable, warm and quiet little cottage. We are opening our doors to friends and travelers who would like to experience the true feel of a Shillong home. We are located in a quiet, residential part of Shillong away from the noise and the crowd. It is an ideal place if you are looking for some relaxation, peace and serenity. We have four spacious bedrooms with king size beds. All bedrooms are tastefully decorated and have an attached bathroom and a balcony with a view of the surrounding greenery. We offer private apartment style accommodation with complimentary breakfast. Dinner is available as per your order and availability. We make simple and clean and fresh home food.

Sha Ri Loum is located in a quiet and peaceful residential area of Shillong and it is about 5 km away from Police Bazar which is the commercial centre. It is surrounded by green hills and pine trees . It's the perfect place to enjoy a relaxed holiday.
