We opened for guests in July 2025. At Eyri Farm, we have four small cottages, each accommodating two guests. We also have one larger cottage that sleeps four guests, as well as the old house, which can host up to eleven guests. Each house has been furnished and decorated with great care and love.

Eyri Farm is located just a 30-minute drive from Reykjavík, making it the perfect escape from the city to experience the peace and beauty of the Icelandic countryside — or an ideal stop along a longer journey around the country. At Eyri Farm, tranquillity comes first. This is a place to slow down, listen to the wind — or the silence — take in the views, and simply let yourself be. We have chosen not to include a television in order to honour the calm and quiet of the surroundings. However, you are welcome to listen to your own music using a wireless speaker, or gather around board games and cards for quality time together. Free Wi-Fi is available in the houses, allowing you to connect with the world when you wish — or disconnect and fully enjoy the present moment. The houses are brand new and thoughtfully designed with warmth and comfort in mind. Quality and well-being are our priorities, and our hope is that guests leave Eyri Farm feeling restored in both body and soul.

Kjós, Hvalfjörður and Þingvellir Eyri Farm is located in the peaceful and fertile valley of Kjós, just north of Reykjavík. Surrounded by mountains, rivers, and open landscapes, the area offers a strong sense of space, calm, and connection to nature. The scenery changes beautifully with the seasons, from endless summer light to snow-covered winter days. Nearby lies Hvalfjörður, one of Iceland’s deepest and most striking fjords, where towering mountains, waterfalls, and still waters create a powerful and tranquil atmosphere. Within a short drive are also Þingvellir National Park, one of Iceland’s most significant natural and historical sites. Here, dramatic geology meets cultural heritage, as the landscape sits between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Together, Kjós, Hvalfjörður, and Þingvellir form a unique setting that invites rest, inspiration, and a deeper connection with both nature and history — far from the rush of the city, yet easily accessible.
