Welcome to Friggjarbrunnyur - a listing where you are renting your private bedroom in addition to sharing other spaces of the apartment with me and my quiet 17 year old so as this is our home and we live on site. I have been a host for 3+ years and enjoyed it as I have been really lucky with most of my guests. As for now, I am in the process of closing for bookings as I feel my aspiration and passion as a host is fading and therefore I look forward to enjoy my home without travellers. But all guests that have a booking i the near future are very welcome and you will be greeting with warmt, kindness and a smile.
februar 2026 Asta's place is perfectly located, 15 min to the center of Reykjavik, 25 min to Thingvellir national Park. She was very helpful and uncomplicated since the booking until the last minute. Staying at her place was definetly worth it. The room is perfect for 2, a bit tight for 3, but for us (3 people) it worked perfect. Also very comfy beds. We would happily recommend it.
Quiet suburb near the city and also near the country side. Best of both worlds.
