The "Gamla húsið" is the older family-house in our farm "Kirkjuferjuhjáleiga" It is surrounded with beautiful nature and here it feels like being alone in the world, very peaceful and quiet but not to far a way from the main-road and services one needs. There is only space here for one small group or family, up to 6 persons.
We, Trausti Þór Guðmundsson and Anna Sigga are horse-farmers here at the farm. We live in our house only about 60 meters away from the Gamla húsið.
Our farm is stationed in the middle of the area "Ölfus" and here there are many horse-breeding farms and you can often see people riding here on the roads.The shortest distance to a naighbour is 2 KM from us and then 7 KM to some more farms.
