These one bedroom apartments with fully equipped kitchen and bath, fresh paint and new floors, are located in the heart of down town Reykjavik, next to the City´s old harbor. Equipped to house up to four (with a double sofa-bed). As of September 2019 we are introducing another perfect unit to our customers, Apartment with Balcony! Same address, same terrific location, two floors up, in mint condition! Apartment with Balcony comes with indoor private parking! Just about everything you may ever want in Reykjavík is with-in a walking distance. Historic sites, city landmarks, restaurants, bars, super markets, churches, swimming pools, museums and concert halls are all with-in reach! Lets not forget the city pond with ducks and birds! A perfect location for a leisure weekend in Reykjavik or your weekday business meetings; Harbor Apartment is your safe bet! (And yes! Locks and keys all upgraded, brand new). Your hosts are born and raised in Reykjavik and both spent time studying abroad; one in USA and the other in Sweden. As seasoned travelers we know how important one´s lodgings are and have done our utmost to remodel and decorate our Harbor Apartments to meet your demands.
Harbor Apartment with Ocean and Mountain Views is located by the Old Harbor in the heart of down town Reykjavík. The beautiful Catholic Cathedral at Landakot is just up the street from us! The Old Cathedral by the city square, Austurvöllur, is about 5 minutes away with the Parliament building right next to it! Hallgrímskirkja church, is a wonderful Lutheran Cathedral with an observation floor at the top of its tower and houses the largest organ in the country, a ca 10-15 minute walk. The new Harpa Concert and Conference Center, home of the Iceland Symphony Orchestra is 3 minutes away, a magnificent architecture. A visit to a Reykjavík swimming pool is a must with its geothermal hot water and sit-in pools with up to 42+ Celcius. Our neighborhood pool is the Vesturbæjarlaug near by, 10 minutes by foot and there is a pool in just about every neighbourhood in Reykjavík. Whale watching boats leave practically from our doorsteps at the Old Harbor! For great dining is the Steikhúsið steakhouse just around the corner from Harbor Apartment, just turn right on Mýrargata street and in a minute you are there! Enjoy your visit!
