South Central is a family business focusing on providing first class accommodations in the heart of the south region of Iceland. In addition to the Guesthouse at Blesastaðir we have the Country Apartment at the same place and South Central Apartments at Brautarholt located by the main road no 32. We started traveling young at age, and were fortunate enough to get to know different cultures and nature around the world. One of the most important things we came to realize was the importance of good accommodations and to have hosts willing to help and provide information on the local area. Therefore we want to maximize our guests experience while traveling by offering the best choice when it comes to accommodations and provide information which will make their travel unforgettable.

South Central Guesthouse offers personal cosy rooms and home convenience while travelling in the south of Iceland. The Guesthouse is fully equipped with easy 24-hour access and private front door parking. The central location reaches many nature attractions such as Gullfoss, Geysir, Þingvellir, Secret Lagoon, Landmannalaugar, Gjain, Háiffoss, Caves of Hella, Seljalandsfoss, and Reykjavík within an hour drive. While staying at the South Central Apartments guest can enjoy a beautiful mountain view, take a country walk and take a look at the Icelandic horses in the beautiful nature. In wintertime the northern lights often visit us and we can let you know when they do.
