206 Via Roma has two apartment (ground floor and first floor). The first floor apartment has a vaulted ceiling and a wide and bright window that faces Villa dei Vespri Siciliani, the greenest part of town. The ground floor apartment is elegant and cozy, faces the little courtyard of the house - full of aromatic plants: a perfect place for relaxing! The house’s furniture’s color matching coupled with a perfect soundproofing create the warm and cozy atmosphere that any tourist craves for after a busy day travelling the busy and noisy roads of our island.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom, both supplied with biological personal care products.
In the Italian culture, home (also known as “Casa”) is a very important place: it means family, protection and comfort.
Via Roma’s house was my shelter for many years, the place of memories, tales, experiences, flavors and scents. Its history brings a special meaning for our family which I would like to transfer to my guests.
During the renovation works, I have tried to enhance any single details in order not to betray the very essence of this place: during every single step of the project, I’ve been inspired by the people who built it and lived here: my great-grandfather Vincenzo, his wife Peppa and their nine sons. Renovations were carried out without betraying the original architectural elements - which are the hallmark of this house - and always trying to make this place elegant and welcoming by adding an indispensable touch of modernity and eco-friendship.
My true hope is that you will feel every bit of the Sicilian traditions and atmosphere the second you will enter the house.
206 via Roma is located in the very center of Linguaglossa, along the main road crossing the town, at 206 via Roma, the trunk Road S.S. 120 “Dell’Etna e delle Madonie”. Its central location offers it all benefits tourists are looking for: closeness to Etna hikes and treks on the highest European volcano, access to the local Wine Routes as well as the proximity to Linguaglossa’s gourmet restaurants which offer an elegant and creative cuisine inspired by our territories and products.
