A Passo Duomo it is not a “ordinary” house; it is the home of my ancestors, at least three generations have lived within these walls. Since I was a child I have always felt a special love for the "grandparents' house". Since 2018 I have decided to share the magic of this place with travelers and tourists from all over the world and it is, now, a holiday house. A Passo Duomo, set among the colorful and lively alleys of the small village of Amalfi, it is a gem that will continue to collect the memories, stories and experiences of those who decide to stop here for a regenerating and unforgettable holiday.
A Passo Duomo is a charming apartment located in the ancient historic center of Amalfi, in a characteristic alley by the main street. In the small garden, the shade of a centuries-old lemon tree offers relaxing moments. The house has two separate spaces: the first one is a family room with a double bed, two more single beds and a bathroom. The second room is a Vietri style kitchen, decorated with ceramics and fully equipped (coffee machine, microwave, oven, toaster). The kitchen has also a comfortable double sofa bed. Both the spaces has A/C. In the garden there is also a second bathroom with shower.
The apartment is in a very convenient position in walking distance from the Cathedral of Sant'Andrea with its famous staircase, the square (beating heart of Amalfi with shops and restaurants), the beach and much more. In 10 walking minutes you can reach the Paper Museum, that collects the testimonies of the ancient technique for the manufacture of Amalfi hand paper. For trekking and hiking lovers there is the possibility to follow the paths that lead to the Valle delle Ferriere or to the ancient Torre dello Ziro from the Saracen era.
