stayed for 1 hour and left even though we booked for a week no refund or partly refund parking only far away and expensive parking not freely accessible wanted the keys of the car, what about no church bells next to the appartment not clean toilet needs repair, fills in 30 minutes easy fix but probably reviews do not work to fix basic stuff. The view was stunning, that is the only thing positive

Amalfi is very beautiful ofcourse.

Amalfi is very beautiful ofcourse. But the people are generally rude to tourists. We were trying to give our daughter a nap in a quite and cool street, and then from somewhere sort of police person comes up and tells us that we cant stay there. But luckily views made up for it. I would not go there again. I would choose Madiera.

Amalfi is a central location for visiting the Amalfi coast...

Amalfi is a central location for visiting the Amalfi coast on either side. There are very good ferry and bus connections to chose from. Amalfi has a beautiful cathedral and a fascination paper-making museum. There is popular shopping street which can be busy but in comparison with Positano and Capri, theirs were far more crowded in June.

The "beginning of summer" had not happened but was about to when we arrived and I loved the before time alot more. The weather, beaches, shops, people were terrific. I enjoyed the Paper Mill Museum very much, joyful shop and tour.

We visited other towns: Positano, Sorrento, but were so pleased we picked Amalfi:- The harbour area where the boats and buses arrive and depart is crowded and busy, but the town itself seemed less crowded than other towns, with a charming historic centre and absolutely beautiful cathedral, some lovely restaurants and cafes, and shops. There is a small beach near the centre which did not seem busy although we didn't use it. We didn't explore extensively around the town as our hotel was on the hill above it; but we feel sure that if we returned to the Amalfi Coast we would choose Amalfi every time.

it is a stunning region and access to lots of other towns...

it is a stunning region and access to lots of other towns and beaches is easy by boat or bus. The influx of day trippers every day is disconcerting as the square and streets become jammed. the beach however is comfortable. i would recommend footwear that you can wear to the waters edge or in the water as the stones underfoot take some getting used to. The water is divine worth the effort of getting in. Food is a joy, both sweet and savoury. I tasted pastries I can't pronounce which looked, smelt and tasted amazing. Pizzas, pasta dishes and fish were divine - this is not about sustenance but pure bliss. Lemons are everywhere - this will not be popular but the iced lemon cones eaten by thousands of tourists look amazing but are over rated. Night clubs are not evident and most places close by 11ish - there are some exception but few evident.

Well Vista d’Amalfi was the perfect stay for us not many steps from the Amalfi bus stop and having the perfect position on the Amalfi coast. The view from our room was breathtaking and simply amazing. The staff specially Andrea was so nice and helpful. She even helped us with a video to guide us the way to the hotel. Breakfast was so great, adequate and right on time. In short we had a great time there

We liked everything!!! The place is not in the center of Amalfi, but, for us, this is a plus since we have a peaceful and beautiful place to stay, nearby Amalfi. Nicoletta is a wonderful guest and Filippo drove us around all the time. We have a shuttle service to go in and out Amalfi. Totally recommend World Center for a pleasant stay in Amalfi Coast!

Palazzo Do Salvatore was absolutely beautiful with amazing views of the Amalfi Coast from our room and from the main breakfast balcony. It was so nice having such a boutique stay and we really felt taken care of by the property manager. Would certainly recommend staying here and will be back again for sure!
