Founded in 1222 by San Francesco d'Assisi, the church is still used today for weddings and celebrations. Always a favorite with an elite clientèle, Hotel Luna Convento features a large outdoor pool and a reef, complete with lounge chairs and sun umbrellas. From here you can access the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. The heritage of this striking building is maintained yet combined with all modern facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available in the lobby. The center of Amalfi is just 650 ft away and there is a public bus stop on the hotel grounds.
