Set on the edge of Mount Etna Regional Park, Antico Borgo Petralia is actually an ancient hamlet that opened to the public in 2011. It features a pretty courtyard, garden and swimming pool. This historic property just outside Zafferana Etnea has an impressive stone façade and lots of original features. Guests can enjoy drinks out in the courtyard and relax on the sun loungers scattered around the pool. Rooms are cool and comfortable with tiled floors and air conditioning. Each room is different at Petralia Antico Borgo and some have sloped wood-beamed ceilings. In each room you will find a flat-screen TV with free Sky channels and free Wi-Fi access. Some have a balcony, some views of the mountains or sea. A buffet breakfast is served each morning and snacks and drinks are available from the bar. Free parking is provided and a shuttle service is available to the north slopes of Mount Etna and the nearest beach is 7.5 mi away.
