The parking space can be reached through Via Castagna, which is quite narrow and steep, and therefore accessible only with small cars (such as Fiat Panda). Termini – the last outpost of the Sorrentine Peninsula Termini is the outermost hamlet of Massa Lubrense, perched on the ridge descending toward Punta Campanella — the peninsula's furthest tip. The name comes from the Latin terminus (border): it's the last settlement before the promontory, from which Capri lies just 5 km away — the closest point to the island reachable from the mainland. Points of interest: Piazza Santa Croce, the small panoramic square overlooking Capri, starting point for the trails to the promontory. Via Minerva, an ancient Greek-Roman mule track dating to the 4th century BC, still partly paved with the original Roman stones, linking Termini to Punta Campanella and passing Fossa di Papa (site of an ancient Greek necropolis) and Mitigliano. Cala di Mitigliano, a small pebble cove with Capri views. Monte San Costanzo (497 m), topped by a small hermitage of Byzantine origin — a favourite spot for summer sunrises. Punta Campanella, with its watchtower and lighthouse, at the heart of the Marine Protected Area established in 1997. Services: a small village with paid parking near the square, a post office (Via Roncato 1), and the basic amenities of a small tourist hamlet — not the commercial offer of Sorrento or central Massa Lubrense.
