Your home away from home. Cetara Amalfi Coast is a friendly family run B&B in a new luxury flat in the heart of Cetara. Located a short distance from the sea , it is perfect if you are looking for an excellent starting point for excursion along the wonderful Amalfi coast and other locations unique in the world such as Napoli, Salerno, Pompei, Sorrento, Paestum. With our newly refurbished rooms and decor, we can ensure that you will have a confortable and memorable stay. Each room has an indipendent entrance and an en-suite (private) bath room. Moreover , guest rooms and terrace offer a wonderful landscape facing the sea and its gorgeous lemon tree terraces will welcome our guests. We are able to speak English and Spanish . Our guests are of course , a priority and your comfort levels are our gauge of how well we are doing.
Cetara is certainly one of the hidden treasures of yhe Amalfi Coast. It is famous not only for its environmental and architectural beauties in context of the Amalfi Coast, declared by the UNESCO a world heritage site, but also for the importance of an economic activity: fishing. Established as small village of fishermen, Cetara has managed to preserve the flavour of tradition, making in their main wealth and fame. Cetara is famous for the local production of “colatura di alici”: the delectable dripping of salted anchovies, famous since the Roman age. Cetara Is also synonymous with “tuna”. As the fleet of 25 fishing boats of Cetara represents the most important of the Mediterranean sea. But Cetara is not just sea. For those who enjoy walking in the mountains the enchanting path “ Monte Falerio” which starts from Cetara, Albori or Cava de’ Tirreni. Another point in favor of Cetara is certainly the ease with which one can reach other locations that are unique in the world:Salerno, Pompeii and Ercolano with their ruins, the ancient city of Paestum, the nearby Sorrento, Vesuvius ,Naples ‘ rich history and the enchanting island of Ischia, Capri and Procida.
