The "Torchio" (Winepress) Guest House is an 18th-century villa, with private parking, near the Lake Maggiore and the city of Arona, belonged to Francesco Cazzamini Mussi, a writer, poet and literary critic born in Milan in 1888. In the comfortable reception room, you can run into the object that gives the name to the Guest House: the majestic oak wine press. The history has it that once a year, in October, the villa owner had to open the doors of his villa to the entire village so that many local winemakers could use his beloved wine press. Being it the only one in the whole Dormelletto it had to work for anyone in the small village of Dormelletto.
