On a hill on the outskirts of La Spezia but just steps from the sea, stands our villa from the twenties. Around us, the scent of the woods and sea breeze, colors of flowers, agave, and citrus, the flight of dragonflies and butterflies. In the pond rich with water lilies during summer nights, the songs of amorous frogs lull you, making you forget the noises of the city. Here, nature is all around. We often see caligo, the sea fog, from our garden and from the windows of the house. The villa is a 5-minute drive from the beaches of Lerici and a 15-minute drive from the center of La Spezia. Alternatively, there are nearby bus stops for convenient public transport. For our guests who wish to forever remember the emotions of their holiday, Sara Canonici, a professional photographer, is available to provide portrait photography services in the wonderful setting of the Ligurian and Tuscan villages. Inside the facility, our two cocker spaniel dogs, mother and son, live.We have the possibility to park on the street in a resident area.From the main door, you reach the villa by climbing a long staircase of about 70 steps, this is the charm of ancient Ligurian residences.Our facility is not suitable for people with disabilities.

I am multifaceted!! I live my home to the fullest and within it I can never get bored because I love to create, invent, and design. I am a material abstract artist and I use a lot of recycled materials in my works. Since I can remember, I have loved to cook, make cookies, invite and host; I always try to give my best, even if not everything is perfect as I would like. I am a detail fanatic; nothing is ever left to chance, and I always think that everything has its reason! I am a newborn in this field, I have much to learn but I have been 'HOSTING' for a long time. I love to pamper and take care of the people close to me, like my family, whom I love very much, consisting of my husband, our two adult children, my parents who live in another wing of the house, and our two dogs Zoe and Gas, two friendly cocker spaniels. The first meeting with them may not be love at first sight, but with one or two cookies, you will be friends forever. During your stay at our facility, you might meet all these people, even if briefly, while you will encounter dogs everywhere and initially with curiosity and caution. At Caligo B&B, we will try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We will be happy to recommend or provide you with information about restaurants or magical places to visit. If you love walking or trekking trails, our area is truly full of them.

La nostra struttura è situata nella periferia di La Spezia ma molto vicina alle bellissime spiagge della Baia Blu, Lerici, San Terenzo e Fiascherino Bandiera Blu in questi ultimi anni. Siamo in Liguria ma ad un passo dalla Toscana. Vari Ristoranti con prodotti e cucina locale nelle vicinanze raggiungibili anche a piedi con una piacevole camminata. Il territorio è pieno di Caratteristici Borghi, Fortezze Medioevali e sagre paesane con prodotti tipici. Vicini a Carrara con le sue cave di marmo, Viareggio per il Carnevale e le sue spiagge ma anche per la sua architettura Liberty e poi Forte dei Marmi e Pietrasanta sono distanti solo 45'. Voltando il viso verso La Spezia, troviamo tutta la Liguria! Casette colorate creano piccoli villaggi arroccati sugli scogli e baciati dalle onde del mare. L'imperdibile Portovenere e le Cinque Terre, i percorsi trekking e quelli del CAI, Levanto, La Baia del Silenzio e moltissimo altro da vedere. Basta avere voglia di muoversi. La fermata dell'autobus è proprio sotto casa. Le stazioni ferroviarie di La Spezia e Sarzana sono a pochi km.
