Independent house on the first floor with stairs consisting of: - Entrance (photo n°25); - Room/study (photos n°12-15) with a loft bed (one and a half size) (photos n°16-18), desk, and wardrobes. The room has a balcony overlooking the street (photo n°26); - Living area (photos n°5-8) with a sofa bed (double) (photos n°6-7) and a loft bed (double) (photos n°8-9), wardrobes (photo n°10). The room has access to the same balcony as the room/study (photo n°26); - Dining/living area (photos n°1-4) with table, sofa, TV, bookshelf (with books), and wardrobe. From this room, you can access the internal terrace (photo n°21); - Kitchen (photos n°19-20) equipped with a stovetop, dining table, cupboards, refrigerator, oven. Kitchen utensils, cutlery, whisks, pots, toaster, kettle, blender, and cappuccino machine are also available. This room also connects to the terrace (photo n°21); - Bathroom (photos n°22-24) with sink, toilet, bidet, bathtub (which can also be used as a shower), and cabinets. Here you will also find towels, soaps, and a hairdryer; - Laundry room, equipped with a washing machine and dryer. The house has 4 cool/heat air conditioners located in the kitchen, dining room and the two bedrooms, installed in March 2025.

Casa Carolina is located in the heart of the historic center of Giarre, just 200 meters from the Duomo (see photos n°28-29), and situated between the two main streets: Corso Italia and Via Callipoli. The area is rich in bars, restaurants, pizzerias, wine shops, cinemas, shops, and supermarkets, all within walking distance. The most popular beaches nearby are Fondachello (photo n°30), about 5 km away, and Riposto, about 1.5 km away. Riposto also features the marina (photo n°31) and the fish market, which are worth a visit. Additionally, the village of Torre Archirafi (photo n°32) is a favored summer destination for locals. The train station is about a 15-minute walk away, while the nearest bus stop is at the Duomo, just 3 minutes from Casa Carolina. The town is well connected to Catania and Taormina, as well as to Linguaglossa, Bronte, Randazzo, Milo, and other towns on the slopes of Mount Etna. These towns can be reached by bus or by the "littorina" (photo n°33), a slow train offering scenic views of the Etna villages, vineyards, and citrus groves. There are two stops in Giarre: one on Via Callipoli, a 5-minute walk from the house, and the other next to the train station.
