Casa Clementina – Marciano is a bright, self-catering apartment located in the municipality of Massa Lubrense, in the quiet village of Marciano. Thanks to its privileged location, Marciano offers one of the most stunning views of Capri. Just 100 meters from the sea, the area stretches along the western side of the Termini pine forest “Le Tore,” between the San Lorenzo and Bacoli promontories, directly facing Capri. The name “Marciano” likely comes from an ancient Roman family who once had a mansion on the San Lorenzo promontory. The property is surrounded by greenery and a centuries-old olive grove, providing a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, while still being close to the sea and the charming villages of Massa Lubrense. We are proud to be an almost entirely plastic-free property, with a strong commitment to waste sorting and environmental sustainability. We also have a private water supply system, allowing for full independence for up to three days in case of emergency or water shortage. Additionally, we collect and reuse rainwater to irrigate the lawns and green areas. Looking ahead, we plan to install a solar power system and build a private swimming pool within the next five years. Over the years, Casa Clementina has undergone several major renovations and improvements: 2017: conversion from holiday home to B&B, with the first four guest rooms 2021: general maintenance and upgrades 2022: renovation of common areas and system updates 2023: addition of a new modern and comfortable bedroom 2025: renovation of outdoor areas, garden, and roof cornice safety reinforcement

Our local area, Marciano, is one of the most peaceful and scenic in the region — ideal for those seeking nature, relaxation, and authenticity. Casa Clementina is the perfect starting point for hikers: the more experienced can set off directly on foot from the house to explore scenic trails with stunning views of Capri — such as the paths to the Bay of Puolo, Capo di Massa, or Mount San Costanzo. Other trails are just a short distance away, easy to reach in minutes. The area also offers excellent food options, with local restaurants and farmhouses nearby serving fresh seafood, olive oil, lemons, and traditional local dishes. Massa Lubrense is the perfect base for an authentic experience, blending sea, hills, and flavors, away from the crowds yet close to all the natural beauty the coast has to offer.
