THE HOUSE: Casa della Chicca is a 60 sqm apartment with lake and mountain view recently furnished in a modern style, located on the second and last floor (no lift), in a small family environment with shared garden and pool. The apartment, with Wi-Fi, can accommodate up to 4 people and consists of living room with balcony and panoramic view, kitchen equipped with all comforts, double bedroom, second bedroom (possibility to choose between two single beds or a double bed) with small terrace, bathroom with washing machine and shower box. OUTSIDE: On the ground floor, shared with my family and at guests' disposal, there is a garden with gazebo, dining area, barbecue, sun loungers and deck chairs as well as an unheated swimming pool (from June to mid-September) managed from me and usable according to the weather. EQUIPMENT: Wi-fi, TV, induction hob, oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, moka for coffee, toaster, electric kettle, washing machine, fans, clothesline, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, hairdryer, safe, bed linen and towels upon arrival, fire extinguisher, carbon monoxide detector, smoke alarm. Private internal parking for motorbikes only, while for cars there are public parking lots close to the house. Note: Apartment NOT suitable for people with disabilities. I'm Enrica, Chicca for my friends, and I've been renting the apartment since 2020. I love cooking, reading and sharing moments with my family in the garden. I like to make my guests feel at home and introduce them to our beautiful territory and our customs!
SURROUNDINGS: "Casa della Chicca" is an excellent starting point both for the famous Sentiero del Viandante, which runs along the entire eastern shore of Lake Como with fantastic views and easy to follow for everyone, and also for reaching expert destinations, such as the summit of the mountain that overlooks us, the Grigna, and all its refuges. A few minutes by car you can reach the lake, with equipped beaches, volleyball courts, kiosks and games for children. Mandello del Lario, which is only 3 km from the house, in addition to being the home of the famous Moto Guzzi, is an ideal starting point for discovering all the towns on the lake (such as the unmissable Varenna). Mandello del Lario railway station, with trains to / from Varenna / Lecco / Milan every hour. Varenna ferry, for connections to Bellagio and the entire Lake center.
