Built in 1840 and renovated 2015, Casa Lari is located in one of the most peaceful and elegant pedestrian areas in the centre of Stresa. The building, consisting of three apartments, offers every comfort for single travelers, couples and families who love being pampered in a relaxing, familiar atmosphere while savoring Our Lake in all its aspects. You will find yourselves surrounded by a bright green garden, where graceful palm trees offer shade in a moment of relaxation! Casa Lari is the ideal location both for the traveler in search of rest ( the Via Principe Tomaso becomes entirely pedestrian during high season ) and for the dynamic traveler looking for sports activities and unforgettable experiences to enrich their memories. The location is very central ( 50 m from the town centre ). After a 500 m walk you will reach the railway station ( Milano is only 1 hour away by train ) and just a 200 m stroll away you will find the port from where, by ferry or private motorboats, you can reach the Borromean Gulf and its islands Bella, Madre and Pescatori. Casa Lari is waiting for you!
Casa Lari gets its name from a nickname that the parents of one of the owners used to call her. But at the same time the "LARI", in ancient Rome, were mythological figures representing protective spirits who watched over the wellbeing of the family. Hence the choice of name for our house.
